For Fall 2021, we are very pleased to announce the expanded Stress Busting initiative with three programs (see details on this website). Each session runs for 30 minutes starting at 12:00pm noon followed by an optional Q&A dialogue.
- Qi Gong Mind-Body Movement Practices led by Dr. Harvey Skinner: 20 sessions on Mondays and Thursdays, 12:00 – 12:30pm, Sep 27 – Dec 2, 2021. A typical 30-minute session involves breath work, energizing movements, purging exercises, flowing movements and mediation.
- Mindfulness Meditation practice led by Susan Harris: 10 sessions on Tuesday's, 12:00 – 12:30pm, Sep 28 – Nov 30, 2021. A typical 30-minute session involves mindfulness of breath, awareness of body sensations, loving-kindness and self-compassion practices, RAIN meditation for strong emotions.
- Capacitar Self-Healing Practices led by the Capacitar Canada Team: 10 sessions on Wednesday’s, 12:00 – 12:30pm, Sep 29 – Dec 1, 2021. A typical 30-minute session involves breath work, meditations, acupressure, finger holds and other body holds, emotional freedom technique, Tai Chi - Qi Gong movements.
